AI for Good, Built by You

ITC (Information Technology Club) is a student-led technology club at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) dedicated to cultivating technical skills, innovation, and digital leadership among students.

RekaTech 2026 is our flagship hackathon organized under the theme "AI for Good". This national-level competition challenges university students across Malaysia to build AI-powered solutions that address real challenges in Healthcare, Education, and Accessibility (OKU-friendly tools). Participants are pushed to think like founders — identify a problem, design a viable solution, and pitch it like a business.

Frequently Asked Questions

All undergraduate students from any Malaysian university. Teams must consist of strictly 3 members.
RM50 per team (Early Bird in early September) or RM100 per team (Late Registration in late September/October).
AI-powered solutions addressing real-world challenges in Healthcare, Education, or Accessibility (OKU-friendly tools). Projects should be functional prototypes or MVPs.
Workshops and the hackathon sprint are online. The Grand Finale is a physical event at UTHM, Johor, where the Top 10 teams pitch live.
A minimum of 10 days is guaranteed between the Top 10 announcement (Nov 7) and the Grand Finale (~Nov 17–22) so students can process official university clearance letters and arrange transport.
